Sales Associate with Batch Austin
$13-$15/hour

15-30 hours/week

 This position is open on November 1 and candidates must be available weekends as well as weekdays during November and December.

We are looking for a result-driven retail Sales Associate to be responsible for sales and customer service at the Junior League Christmas Haute and help with distribution of holiday batches this season.

The Sales Associate responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products, and recommend the right solutions. You should also be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. To be successful as a Sales Associate you should stay up-to-date with product features at the pop up event, and you will be fully trained by our team.

Ultimately, the duties of a Sales Associate are to achieve excellent customer service, assist the Operations Coordinator and City Director with packing orders, while consistently meeting the Junior League Christmas Haute Event sales goals.

This position is seasonal, paid hourly. There is a chance to grow as the team grows in Austin.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
  • Welcome customers to the pop up booth and answer their questions
  • “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
  • Actively seek out customers in store
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
  • Process POS (point of sale) purchases
  • Cross-sell products
  • Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
  • Build productive trust relationships with customers

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate, or similar role
  • 1-3 years experience working in front-line, high-volume retail setting
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Proficiency in English
  • Basic Math skills
  • Track record of over-achieving sales quota
  • Hands-on experience with POS transactions
  • Familiarity with inventory procedures
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
  • Availability to work flexible shifts
  • High school degree; BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus

Logistics Associate (Nashville)

Effective dates: November 1, 2017 - December 22, 2017

Pay range: $12-$15/hr DOE

Location: Nashville, TN (100 Oaks area)

Big picture goal of this position:

To ensure delighted customers through the careful packing and shipping of thousands of batches during the 2017 holiday season

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
  • Prepare parcels for mailing
  • Receiving and processing warehouse stock products
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
  • Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits
  • Complete daily logs into inventory
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; sweep, dust and mop as needed. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
  • Wear the proper safety equipment

        $13/hour Part-time 15-20 hours/week
        This position is open now and candidates must be available weekends.
